Construction Manager

This person will oversee the entire construction process and ensure projects run smoothly until completion.
To support this, responsibilities include taking inventory of the workers' equipment and tools, updating customers and stakeholders on the projects status, conducting regular site checks to review the crews progress and ensure proper safety guidelines are followed.
Additional job duties are as follows:
Constant contact with customers, inspectors and crews to insure excellent customer service Ability to communicate and speak clearly and concisely so that project goals are met Leadership skills that include delegating tasks to workers, subcontractors and others Time management skills to meet deadlines while coordinating multiple parts of the project for smooth completion Technical skills to interpret construction methods and to direct workers Remove project roadblocks Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers Hire additional subcontractors and assign tasks accordingly Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues.
Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient Great problem solving and decision making skills Effective leadership skills ie.
