Positions are located in Genesee County in the Burton area.
PRIMARY MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
Responsibilities:
Greet and arrive all patients in a courteous manner.
Ability to handle a high volume of patient calls.
Ensure patients complete the required documentation.
Collect co-pays and balances.
Schedule all appointments.
Handle all referrals.
Scanning and faxing.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of medical office experience.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience with insurance billing and procedures.
Prior experience with EHR (Allscripts preferred).
Attention to detail.
Well developed time and task management skills.
Professional demeanor.
Charge entry experience preferred.
Outstanding customer service skills.
