GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Financial Analyst plays a key role on our finance team, providing financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, assisting with the month-end process, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY 1.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
Develop financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and long-term planning.
Analyze financial performance and present findings to senior management.

Reporting:
Assist in preparing timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Monitor bank accounts daily and complete monthly bank reconciliations Monthly fixed asset tracking and reconciliation Generate ad hoc reports to support various departments and management initiatives.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Data Management:
Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources.
Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, (Maestro, Great Plains) Validate and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Monitor budget performance and provide insights to support cost control measures.
Identify deviations from the budget and recommend corrective actions.

Communication:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for analysis.
Present financial findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
SKILLS AND JOB
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in using Great Plains software preferred Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Normal hours of employment are flexible Monday-Friday between the hours of 7amto 5pm.
Once established, you will be required to follow a set schedule.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Master's degree or professional certification (e.
g.
, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
